- Thats pretty much what I told him. I on the other hand have spent enough on
- ROM upgrades for this controller I could have purchased a new controller and a
- new CD-Rom drive. I'm not spending $79 more on a Guru ROM upgrade. That is
- crazy! A new DKB SCSI controller is only $139. GVP Series II controllers are
- Shit! They are the flakiest, bug infested piece of crap on the market. It's
- no wonder GVP went under. It looks kinda bad on their part, 2 months after
- they fold, their programmer releases Guru that is suppose to finally fix all
- the bugs. I think GVP had the solution all along and only updated the
- firmware enough to get by. That way they could stick you with another ROM
- upgrade later down the road. God knows I bought my share, 3 Rom kits at $40
- each!
